It also shows that there really is not a liberal media, if there were, the so called liberal press would have stayed on this story 24/7 until Reagan apologized or was forced off the GOP ticket. In 1980, the nation was done with Carter so Reagan could have said the N word and would have received a pass from the media in my view.

Reagan's appearance in Philly, MS was on the date of the 16th year anniversary of when the bodies of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner were found.

A simple question to all racists... there are over 1000 cities and towns in the South Reagan could have open his national campaign... why did he chose Philly, MS to talk about States Rights??

This was repulsive,I wonder what Reagan told God his reason was when he met his maker in 2005?mickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11829941762393424812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1875914134086255778.post-77061180717868384332012-03-21T08:29:19.416-07:002012-03-21T08:29:19.416-07:00Great blog Scoobie. Do you know of any books or articles that discuss the relation of these three--particularly the speech at the Neshoba Fair-- in greater depth? Thanks again for the great blog.
cheers,
Jeff
jeffrey.howison@gmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
